Pimp your style with interesting words

Wenn ihr die Regeln der Word Order S - V - O einhaltet, könnt ihr weitgehend fehlerfrei englische Texte schreiben.

Diese einfachen Satzmuster kann man mit interessanten Vokabeln (Synonyms für Standardvokabeln wie: go, have, etc) gut aufpeppen:

He went home
He hurried home (as quickly as possible); walked; strolled (along the shop windwos), wandered (leisurely), returned, came (back),
It rained.
It started to pour, to drizzle, to rain down, water was dripping from the trees,

Vor Substantive kann man immer Adjektive und vor Adjektive noch Adverbien setzen.

We ate a pizza.
We ate an excellent pizza.
We ate a really excellent pizza.

  tip
  • Use vocabulary and grammar you know well.
  • It's better to use a familiar expression correctly than to try a fancy one and get it wrong.
