Die Steigerung von Adjektiven ist relativ einfach.


Bei mehrsilbigen Adjektiven wie im-por-tant wird more und most vorgestellt.

Positiv Komparativ Superlativ
excited more excited (the) most excited
useful more useful (the) most useful
interesting more interesting (the) most interesting
important less important (the) least important

Be Careful!
Neben der Steigerung mit much …, more …;, the most … kann man auch little mit less und least steigern!

Adventure activities

Holly and Olive went to an Activity Centre in Wales last summer. ► Put in the right form of the adjectives.

Olivia: It was great. Ziplining was the most exciting thing.
Holly: Trampolining was more exciting(exciting) than ziplining.
Olivia: Archery was the most dfficult (difficult) of all the activities.
        It' s more difficult(difficult) than trampolining.
Holly: Bowling is easier(easy) than archery.
Olivia: I like rock-climbing. I did it in Scotland. It's nicer(nice) there than() in Wales, I think.

Holly:  Walking up hills is the most boring(boring) activity in the world.
Olivia: No, it's good fun. Scotland is more interesting(interesting) than the south of England, anyway.
        It's really good, the most perfect (perfect)  place for walking.
Holly:  Well, it's warmer(warm) in Wales than in Scotland.
Olicva: Last year in Cornwall it was the coldest(cold)  April for thirty years.
