Pranay's Dialogues with Foreign People

Reported speech elephant parking Being from India, I get a lot of questions about my country.

Sometimes the questions do become rather exasperating . . .

Put in the correct sentences in reported speech.

Q: "Do you have cars in India?"

    They asked him if cars in India.

A: "No. We only use cows and elephants."

    He replied that they only cows and elephants.

Q: "Pranay, do you have enough food in your country?"

    They asked him if enough food in country.

A: "No. But if we get hungry, we'll eat the cows and the elephants."

    He ansered that if hungry they the cows and elephants.

Q: "Do you have "arranged" marriages in India?"

    They asked him arranged marriages in India.

A: Of course. We do like to organize things, you know...

    He answered that to organize things.

Q: "Do you speak Hindu?"

A: Yes. I also speak Christianity, Islam and Buddhism.

    They asked him if Hindu and he answered that he also spoke Christianity, Islam and Bhuddism.

Q: Are you a Hindi?

A: Oh yes, I am also English, French and Spanish.

    They asked him if a Hindi and he answered that he was also English, French and Spanish.

Q: "Where is India?"

A: "Follow B14 to Amberg. You'll get there eventually."

    They asked him and he told them the B14.
