Wenn man Aussagen (engl. : statements) von der direkten Rede in die indirekte Rede setzt, wird die Aussage zum Nebensatz.
- "I am sick!"
- → I told you I was sick!
- "I speak English."
- → He said he spoke English.
Dabei gibt es folgende Veränderungen:
- Zeitverschiebung (Time Shift)
- Verschiebung der Perspektive (Perspektive Shift)
- feste Zeitangaben relativieren

Time Shift
Put in the correct verbs. Take care of the Time Shift!
1. Tony said "I'm hungry!"
Toni said that he was() hungry.
