The Inuit territory of Nunavut has three languages: English, French and Inuktitut.
The Inuit have always told in their native Inuktitut, but the language was not down until an alphabet was invented missionaries in the 19th century.
Inuktitut is not a simple language, it has a rather small number of words. A word can have several different .
