Black bears or Grizzlies?

A ranger once told me how to tell the difference between a black bear and a grizzly. He said if you climb a tree to get away from the bear, if it climbs the tree to get you its a black bear. It it knocks the tree down, its a grizzly. :)

If it's black, attack. If it's brown, stay down. If it's white, goodnight.

Interactive Exercises

Put in the correct forms (all Tenses and Active/Passive).

Every year grizzly bears are drawn (draw) towards campgrounds. Last year, after one of them had found out (find out) how easy it was to collect (collect) left-over food from the campground, he came (come) every day to the garbage cans. He was named (name) Bob.

After Bob had grown (grow) too tame, he didn't have|did not have|didn`t have (not have) any fear any more. So it was only a matter of time until he first attacked (attack) a hiker who was camping|had been camping (camp) in the valley for some days.

The following days the rangers looked for (look for) him. When they finally saw him Bob was darted (dart) by the rangers. After he had fallen (fall) down unconsciously (bewusstlos) he was flown (fly) to a distant valley in the National Park.

But two days later he was (be) back again! This time he had to be killed (must, kill). Yesterday a ranger shot (shoot) him.
